— December 13th, 2010

James Dinwiddie, Chairman of Team London Bridge and Nadia Broccado, Director received the star prize London BID of the Year 2010 from The Mayor of London at the awards ceremony in City Hall on Monday 13 December.  This caps a wonderful year for the Business Improvement District, which follows the successful result in the re-vote in November.

Team London Bridge is one of the first Business Improvement Districts (BID) to be established in the UK and has been providing services and making improvements within the London Bridge area for nearly 5 years. The re-ballot, which resulted in a stunning 89% vote in favour by rateable value will ensure that TLB continues to deliver benefits to the area for another 5 years. With the particular significance of the 2012 Olympics, the completion of The Shard and improvements to London Bridge Station happening in the period it will be an exciting time for the BID.

James Dinwiddie was a member of the steering group that set up the BID and has been Chairman since the start in 2005.
